The Virgen Macarena University Hospital has released a cardiac monitoring project on a pilot scale. Cardiac patients should wear the 'bio-Textronic shirt', biomedical shirts with built-in electro-textile sensors facilitating remote cardiac monitoring.
The significant symptoms of patients will be observed while taking up recuperation or arduous activities.
The inventive program has been organized along with the collaboration of a major healthcare firm offering telemedicine solutions. The company focuses on partnering with medical projects that are related to applying remote cardiac monitoring technology with the help of an innovative and wire-free Textronic shirt.
The latest biomedical device enables simultaneous observation of several cardiac patients, fix warnings and examine physical condition of a patient. The significant signals obtained by the shirt’s electro-textile sensors are processed and transferred to wire-free access options like health wristbands, routers and cell phones. The signals are routed instantaneously and saved for additional investigation and utilization.
The latest ICT platforms offered by the new remote monitoring technology can be used to address several health issues of patients.
