Advenovation has announced that Adil Shafi, President of the company, will offer a presentation titled ‘Machine Vision for Surgical Robots’ on March 8, 2011. A live webcast of his presentation will be available on Vision Systems Design website.
Adil Shafi is an expert in machine vision and robotics segments. He will explain all the technical advancements, obstacles to utilization and major inventions in the extensive area of service robots.
Service robots are widely deployed in several areas including removal of explosives, warehouse logistics, educating children, helping elderly persons and agriculture. Latest technologies like image processing and machine vision serve major roles in developing service robots. These technologies enable the robots to image, record and analyze information about their surroundings, followed by carrying out tasks based on the interpreted data.
