HK Systems Merges with Dematic Group to Form Dematic

Dematic Group, a global provider of intelligent logistics solutions, has acquired HK Systems, which is an automated material handling company. The name of the new company will be Dematic with its North American headquarters in Michigan.

Dematic in the US and Canada will be headed by John K. Baysore who is the present CEO of Dematic North America. He will guide the company in the areas of development, supply and assistance for providing multifarious solutions to their clients. The company will also scale up its productivity in developing automated systems for recovery and storage, self guided vehicles, conveyors and technologies for order fulfillment and sorting.

Baysore expressed that the new company will offer improved material systems for enhancing their clients’ productivity and prosperity. He stated that their aim is to provide extensive solutions covering all the markets ranging from production to distribution. He added that this acquirement will help to supply the most competent material handling solutions.
