Intelligrated and Swisslog, two automated material handling solutions providers, have decided to form a strategic alliance in North America.
The alliance would help provide integrated material handling solutions for beverage, food and retail markets. During the past five years, based on the successful collaboration on different projects, the alliance gives its customers an in-depth set of advanced solutions, customized to meet definite business goals.
Integration services and Warehouse Automation products from Swisslog and regional network and US manufactured technologies from Intelligrated would be available side by side to benefit the customers. Support plans and enhanced service would be given to the customers via the united efforts of both companies.
Products such as Swisslog’s Tornado Miniload AS/RS, Vectura Pallet AS/RS, AutoStore goods-to-person piece picking and storage solution, ProMove Pallet Conveyors and AutomationManager software and Intelligrated’s Alvey Palletizers and robotics, IntelliSort Sortation Systems, Case Conveyor Products, Real Time Solutions Order Fulfillment Systems, InControlWare software suite and BOSS controls are available.
Jim McKnight, Intelligrated’s Senior Vice President, stated that their joint efforts would give their customers innovative and proven solutions, which were created in a speedy and cost-effective manner.
Swisslog’s Senior Vice President, Markus Schmidt commented that the partnership would be of great benefit to both the organizations and their clients.
