Vector Software, a company that provides automated software test tools for embedded applications, declared that XMobots Robotic Systems has chosen VectorCAST/C++ to provide advanced flight navigation software solution in less time to meet market demands.

XMobots Robotic Systems is a pioneer in developing advanced control solutions, software, and hardware for unmanned applications that require a high level of strength and dependability. VectorCAST/RSP and VectorCAST/C++ are the two software test tools, selected by XMobots, to sustain their integration and unit testing. XMobots chose VectorCAST/Cover, which will aid in attaining structural coverage during the system testing phase.
According to Director of XMobots, Fábio Assis, the company opted to use Vector Software's product for operating their unmanned systems as it complies with DO-178B’s certification and meets market demands in less time. He added that the software testing using VectorCAST embedded software could help them to save money and reduce time by locating errors during the beginning stage of the development cycle. He further mentioned that the VectorCAST software testing tools can be used for developing a complete aviation software solution.
