Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) has collaborated with Deutsche Messe AG for hosting the Industrial Automation North America a new automation event. It was reported that this event will be organized along with AMT’s International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) which will be conducted once in two years at the McCormick palace between September 13 and 18 and will be participated by more than 90,000 participants from 116 countries.
IMTS organizers have stated that the Industrial Automation North America event will feature the latest products and solutions for production automation and will also supplement IMTS’ concentration on machine tools, metalworking and accurate production. They mentioned that at the Emerging Technology Center, a concise 3-D video overview elucidating about the major and latest technologies will be presented to the attendees, thereby enabling them to personally experience the interactive demos.
Douglas K. Woods, President of AMT expressed his excitement over working with the organizers of one of the leading manufacturing’s trade shows for conducting the significant North American trade event. He said that by hosting the Industrial Automation North America at the IMTS premises, they can widen the range of automation solutions available to the IMTS participants. He concluded that IMTC is the best platform to demonstrate the future of production and to provide real-time experience to the show attendees.
