Miltenyi Biotec, a global supplier of products and services for cellular therapies, has announced an agreement with Tecan which is involved in the development, production and distribution of automation solutions for laboratories in the life sciences sector which will benefit customers due to the competence of Tecan’s Freedom EVO(R). Liquid handling platforms in performing the analysis.
This deal involves providing automation solutions based on Magnetic bead technology for a wide range of high quality products of Miltenyi Biotec. The key features include incorporation of the MultiMACS(TM) Separator family which enables cultivation of cells and bio molecular separation, providing software solutions for integration of autoMACS(R) Pro Separator, the gentleMACS(TM) Dissociator and the MACS Quant (R) Analyzer of Miltenyi Biotec systems.
According to Uwe Janssen, Business Development at Miltenyi Biotec, customers working on analysis of biomolecules and cells will be highly benefited by using their products with added features of automation.
Christoph Kaufmann, Tecan's Head of Product Management and Marketing, represented Tecan in the announcement of this partnership.
