GB Innomech has participated in the ABB Global Partner program in order to improve its contribution to the robot-automation market.
Innomech is an engineering consultancy based at Cambridgeshire and specialises in providing automation solutions for complicated or labour intensive processes in food, medical and pharmaceutical industries. By virtue of the partnership both companies will be working together on projects by using ABB’s wide range of robotic solutions.
Apart from being provided access to ABB’s robotic solutions, employees of Innomech will be given sales, marketing, application, service, and software training by ABB. Alan Spreckley, the channel partner manager at ABB, pointed out that Innomech had a well-established success record at international level in medical and pharmaceutical markets. He added that by working with Innomech, ABB will be able to provide its customers with more streamlined robotic solutions and establish their brand more prominently in new markets. Tim Mead the commercial director at Innomech, regarded ABB as a leading supplier of high performing industrial robots. He said that the partnership will help them cater to the growing demands for cost-effective robot systems to the UK market. There is a great demand for automation solutions that are easy and simple to reprogram and implement for short production runs as well as on multiple products, being cost-effective at the same time. The Global Partner Program at ABB aims at promoting business opportunities between ABB partners.
