Teledyne DALSA, part of the Teledyne Technologies, will be exhibiting its smart cameras used for machine vision applications at the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition 2011.
Smart Cameras
The exhibition will be held at the Taipei World Trade Centre in Taiwan between the August 31 and September 3. Among the smart cameras that will be displayed, the popular and award winning GEVA camera will be displayed.
G4 technology, the distributor for Teledyne DALSA, will also be displaying their products in the exhibition. The devices that would be displayed are the BOA smart camera, BOA IDR, vision appliances and GEVA. The BOA smart cameras are highly integrated vision inspection devices that can be used for quality inspection therefore improving the productivity. The BOA IDR is the newest vision inspection tool on the Teledyne product line. It finds applications in vision inspection of products for verification and traceability purposes. The BOA IDR combine the abilities of 1/2-dimensional code reading along with character recognition in order to ensure that all the markings on the products match perfectly before they leave the factory floor. Coming to the GEVA camera, which is a Gigabit Ethernet camera that can be interfaced in order to bring down the system costs. They can be used as industrial controllers. Finally, the vision appliances that will be on display are multi-camera machine vision solutions that can be used in factories for control and improving efficiency.
