IntelLiDrives Introduces BSMA Series Cartesian Multi-Axes Robotic Systems

IntelLiDrives, a provider of linear actuators, rotary tables and XY systems, has introduced new multi-axes Cartesian robotic systems.

BSMA Series Cartesian Multi-Axes Robotic Systems

The systems are suitable for a variety of automation applications such as assembly, picking, placing, dispensing, and testing and inspection.

The new Cartesian multi-axes robotic systems integrate the BSMA Series of motorized ball screw linear actuators. The systems are offered in XY, XYZ, and XZ standard configurations. They have an integrated system for cable management that has connectors for easy disengagement of customer air lines and cables.

The multi-axes Cartesian robotic systems are offered as 1-, 2-or 3-axes linear modules. They also have an optional Theta (rotary) axis and an H-style gantry or T-style arm. The systems have stroke of 50 mm to 1.8 m and ball screw pitch of 5, 10, and 25 mm. The robotic systems have a dynamic load capacity of 200 kg. They also have a repeatability of 5 µm.

The IntelLiDrives robotic system includes a multi-axes control system along with amplifiers. The motors are either stepper or brushless servo type motors having encoders. The multiple stages of the robotic system have environmental protection. The multiple ball-screw leads and the integral limits enable a range of resolutions and speeds.
