Surfware Chooses UAVision as its Reseller in Portugal

Surfware, a leading developer of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems, has chosen UAVision as its reseller in Portugal. The headquarters of UAVision is at Lisbon and the company will be lending its support to Surfware by licensing Industrial and Educational end-users of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems.

The General Manager of UAVision pointed out that the core focus of UAVision was to provide robotised milling systems for industrial five-axis simultaneous milling applications. He was of the opinion that SURFCAM will be a value addition to their robotised milling solutions by supplementing their manufacturing solutions with CAM systems.

Another milling software provided by Surfware is the TrueMill, which is a patented toolpath that is capable of controlling the tools engagement into the material for faster delivery and deeper cutting. The VAR Channel Manager at Surfware pointed out that the manufacturing solutions in Portugal will be enhanced by the precision and control offered by SURFCAM. The SURFCAM products are available as 2-, 3-, 4- and 5- axis products. These products have been installed on more than 26,000 systems across the world over 20 years. The software is available in 16 languages and provides high-quality technical support to the customers. It is the most widely used, cost-effective solution used in the CNC machining market worldwide.
