Interactive Robot with iPad Apps for Autistic Children

Stoltenberg is introducing a Junior Consultant Program at booth #1434 in the HIMSS12 Annual Conference and Exhibition to be held on 20-24, Feb, 2012 in Las Vegas.

The Interbots robots are also to be exhibited by Stoltenberg. Interbots will be demonstrating its PC/mobile apps and robotic characteristics.

Interbots will introduce its new children- and customer-friendly robot, Popchilla, in the exhibition. Popchilla is designed for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The company has combined the robotic technology with conventional entertainment standards to produce interactive robots. A school project has been developed into an animatronic puppet, Quasi, which is an entertainment for children.

Popchilla has been integrated with an iPad app. This application helps the parents and therapists to direct Popchilla for the development of social referencing skills in ASD children which includes recognizing emotions, response to directives and focusing on faces.

Interbots has recently won the Robobowl venture competition for the commercialization of Popchilla. The company focuses on PC/mobile apps and interactive robotic characters. The first animatronics character of the company, Quasi, has been an entertainment throughout the world and had appeared in several television shows.

Stoltenberg has introduced the Junior Consultant Program to fulfill the IT resource requirements in hospitals. The company provides various services which includes integration between systems, project management and implementation support.
