Anova Cancer Care is the new name for Denver CyberKnife. The Anova stands for “a novel approach” to cancer treatment.
The new name characterizes the medical center’s advanced, clinically proven approach to non-surgical cancer treatment and the scheduled extension of services that exceed CyberKnife procedures.
With Anova Cancer Care, CyberKnife robotic radiation therapy is being offered to patients in Denver and Rocky Mountain regions, thereby supporting non-surgical treatment of brain, prostate, lung, spine and other cancers.
Based on CyberKnife image-guidance capabilities, the expert medical team of Anova Cancer Care precisely performs the detection and treatment of tumors. The technology serves as a unique pain-free and effective alternative to traditional cancer surgery. It ensures minimal side effects as well as speedy recovery without anesthesia. CyberKnife outpatient treatment sessions will take only 25 to 55 minutes, based on the type of tumor under treatment.
Since 2001, CyberKnife clinics have effectively treated over 100,000 patients nationwide. It represents one of the most sophisticated, clinically proven successful treatments for prostate cancer.
Since its establishment in 2009, Colorado-based Anova Cancer Care was the first medical center to treat prostate patients. It has more patients than any other self-supporting center within the Rocky Mountain region.
