Cimcorp Unveils Automated MultiPick Gantry System

Cimcorp has released the MultiPick Robotic Gantry system, a fully automated picking solution, for quick completion of orders. It also offers improved efficiency, reduced cost-factor, 100% consistency, enhanced logistics and traceability while handling applications related to perishable food.

MultiPick Robotic Gantry System

The Robotic Gantry System links buffer storage and order accomplishment facilities in a single robotic system. The buffer storage area features stackable baskets which can hold new inventory and every stack embraces single SKU. Single or several MultiPick robots can grab one or more baskets in an orderly fashion from a single stack at a time, followed by moving the orders into the dispatch vehicles. In order to reduce time and energy overheads, the loading is done in a drop sequence. After completing this process, MultiPick will vacate the picking area automatically for quicker cleaning. It also enables the bakeries to enhance productivity and decrease labor reparation claims.

Cimcorp has reported that their MultiPick Robotic Gantry system is an adaptable picking solution, which offers a simple interface and easily reprogrammable software for including additional SKUs, facilitating bakeries to scale-up their dispatch operations and meeting their rising order variations.
