Panasonic Partners with Miller to Release a Fully Automated Welding System

Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America has declared that it has partnered with Miller Electric for incorporating its robotic technology developed by Panasonic Welding Systems, an ancillary unit of Panasonic Corporation, into the products of Miller, and to deliver the same to the North American segment via Miller.

Tom Gebhardt, President of Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America, expressed his excitement over starting this new venture with Miller. He said that the innovation, expertise and vision of both the companies will potentially enhance client satisfaction and automation.

Mike Weller, President of Miller, has stated that their company has collaborated with a reputed leader to launch an extensive robotic welding automation solution. He added that they had developed Miller Welding Automation, a business organization dedicated to supply the latest Miller automated welding system, thereby contributing to business augmentation. This latest facility will be established in Carol Stream, Illinois.

This strategic collaboration was formally declared at FABTECH 2010, the biggest metal developing, finishing and welding event of North America. It was held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia.
