To accommodate recent growth in Europe, Seegrid, maker of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), hired Peter Bak as the new European Representative. With more than 20 years of experience in customer oriented roles in technology intensive companies within market and business development, sales and account management, customer projects, and sensor and measurement technology, Bak is an expert in the European market. Bak will report to Michael Hasco, Seegrid’s Chief Growth Officer.
According to Hasco, “Bak will help further the penetration of Seegrid’s simple, affordable, flexible AGV message into key European customer segments, forging key partnerships throughout Europe. With our first Guided by Seegrid Linde Material Handling truck now launching, Bak will further assist with this important partnership.”
Bak expressed his excitement about joining the Seegrid team, “First and foremost I am looking forward to developing constructive dialogues with potential clients on how Seegrid can help improve their operation with regards to cost, reliability, and safety. I am also eager to join Seegrid’s dedicated team and to work closely with them to create results and customer satisfaction. With the flexible AGVs, Seegrid is addressing important challenges in the market, and the timing for adding extra speed in Europe is just right.”

LogiMAT, the biggest annual intralogistics exhibition in Europe, will be held between 25 and 27 February 2014. International exhibitors and decision-makers from industry, trade, and the service sectors will be coming together at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre to find the best products and best practices. The focus will be on innovative products, solutions and systems for procurement, warehouse, production, and distribution logistics. Seegrid will be located at Hall 8, Stand #471.
