An automated car parking garage, termed as ‘Green Park Eco Garage’, will be inaugurated in the Bucktown district of Chicago by the end of next year.
More than 100 cars can be parked in the robotic garage by means of a robotic system. In contrast to the conventional parking structures, the Green Park Eco Garage doubles the parking facility.
The lighting system of the garage consumes less power and is developed from reusable materials. The roof can collect rain-water and the garage would not require heating, since only cars will enter the garage and not people.
