KUKA.PLC mxAutomation Software Enables Simple Integration of Robots into Machine Controllers

With the software KUKA.PLC mxAutomation, KUKA Roboter GmbH has developed a solution that enables simple integration of the robot into the machine controller.

Operators do not need to have specific robotics knowledge and can work in their usual programming and operator control environment. The robot is very easily integrated into the machine environment.

Through the further development of KUKA.PLC mxAutomation 2.1 software, now even more partners can easily incorporate KUKA robots into their machine environments. In addition to supporting the well-known partners Siemens, CoDeSys, AllenBradley and LabView, the software tool now also supports Beckhoff, Schneider Electric, B&R and the Siemens controllers TIA Portal (SIMATIC) and SIMOTION.

The new partners will be demonstrating the simple integration of the robot into the machine environment at their trade fair booths at SPS/IPC Drives in Nuremberg.
