Automation Supplier Emerson Acquires Turbine Control Service Associates

Emerson has announced the acquisition of Turbine Control Service Associates, major generator excitation control systems supplier for power plants. This acquisition widens product portfolio of Emerson Process Management in the international power generation segment.

Steve Sonnenberg, President of Emerson Process Management, has stated that both companies work on a common mission of offering sophisticated turbine-generator control systems to the power generation segment. He added that this acquirement further empowers Emerson’s domination in offering automation solutions to power generation plants and will also benefit their clients.

According to Tom Kallay, President of Turbine Control Service Associates, their company is well reputed for their reliable performance, innovative products and extensive client service. He added that they expect new development opportunities by leveraging technology and other resources of Emerson.
