Robotics Technology Park to Offer Training in Robotics to Alabama Workforce

Omron Scientific Technologies is collaborating with the Alabama Robotics Technology Park to offer training in automation and robotics technologies.

The company will also provide robotics safety for the project. The park working in three phases will comprise training facilities on an individual basis and will cater to customized industry requirements.

The project has been inspired by Bob Riley, the governor of the state of Alabama.  It is a joint venture between the state of Alabama, Calhoun Community College, and US-based robotics firms. According to Ed Castile, executive director of AIDT, the mission is an endeavor to provide individuals and companies foray into the field of robotics by providing them expert training and guidance. AIDT is the state employee training agency.
