Liquid Robotics Receives Funding Worth $18 Million

Liquid Robotics, developer of autonomous marine vehicles, has announced that it has received equity-based funding worth $18 million. It is expected that the financing could increase to $23.2 million.

Wave Glider, self-guided marine vehicle, was developed by Liquid Robotics to determine the population of humpback whales. Today the company is promoting the vehicle for commercial, defense and scientific operations. It includes several sensors and moves by altering wave movement into propulsive force.
