People Power has declared that it has received Patent number 7,840,383 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its power utilization monitoring system.
People Power's cloud-based Energy Services Platform is a power management platform that can control internet-linked devices and machinery. This technology examines and identifies actively linked devices, records the list of the devices to a remote server and also informs the power consumption of these devices. All these features of this technology are covered by the patent.
Gene Wang, CEO of People Power and an inventor of People Power's power usage monitoring system, has stated that the requirement for energy efficiency has increased dramatically. He added that the patent has provided them ownership rights of the significant technology in total power utilization monitoring solution.
