AV&R to Deliver Surface Inspection Systems

AV&R, supplier of automation and robotics solutions, has received $1.5 million worth contract to deliver surface inspect equipment to England and Germany-based jet engine manufacturing companies.

AV&R Vision & Robotics will deliver factory automation system that can effectively monitor the exterior of compressor, fan and turbine blades. It will check for the presence of flaws such as cuts, hollows, scrapes and tooling inscriptions. System adaptability is accomplished by means of vision-guided robotic technology.
