Ford Sponsors CNA-Q’s Environmental Research Robot Project

The Conservation and Environmental Grants of the Ford Motor Company has offered funding worth $15,000 to the environmental research robot project.

This project was visualized by the College of North Atlantic Qatar students (CNA-Q). It focuses on developing an environmental research robot for cleaning the Ras Laffan Industrial City beaches of Qatar.

Ras Laffan Industrial City beaches serve as a breeding place for the Hawksbill turtle. Though it is an indigenous species of Qatar, currently it is in the danger of extinction.
