Automation Supplier, RV Components Expands in Malaysia

RS Components has inaugurated its second office in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The new office includes sales and support team of the company.

Jones Leung, Vice President for Sales in Asia Pacific, RS Components, has stated that their company is looking forward tor huge opportunities in the Malaysian electronics segment, in particular the automation, electronic and original machinery manufacturing services segment.

The mass rapid transit (MRT) system in Kuala Lumpur is scheduled to be commenced in July. In addition, funds in oil and gas segments are likely to increase in another four years due to a rise in demand for process control automation (PCA) and maintenance and repair operations (MRO) products.

According to Richard Huxley, Regional Manager for Asia Pacific, RS Components, around 10% of the London-based industry’s revenue is offered by this region. He added that they expect around RM2.42 billion increase in total sales in another five to ten years.

The company has reported that within one year 49,000 products will be introduced in their warehouses located in Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Yokohama.
