Prostate cancer treated with robotic assisted surgery has a 87% chance of recovery with no recurrence of the disease after five years. This is the finding of the first long term study of patients who have undergone surgical removals of cancerous prostates with robot assisted surgery.

A robot sang while human dancers backed it on stage entertaining audiences at the Digital Content Expo in Tokyo. The HRP-4C is a robot made to resemble an average young adult Japanese woman. It was developed by Kwada and AIST. It struts, sings and dances and proved itself in a choreographed pop routine.

Ohio Increases Spend on DNA Testing Robotics

State crime labs in London and Richfield, Ohio have been using robots designed to test DNA for a year now. On the anniversary of their joining the labs the Ohio Attorney General Richard Corday has decided to double their number by allocating $1.36 million in federal grants and state funds.
