Mazor Robotics, an innovator of innovative surgical robots and complementary products recently declared that its Renaissance platform has achieved U.S. FDA marketing clearance for better performance of brain surgery.
Adept Technology declared that it will demonstrate the efficiency of the Adept Quattro s650H robot during the ProPak China 2012 event scheduled from July 18-20, 2012 in Shanghai, China. Higher productivity and food safety can be obtained by incorporating the Adept Quattro s650H robot in automated, high-speed packaging applications.

SCHUNK has further expanded its modular system of grippers with the addition of a new integrated distance and presence sensor for SCHUNK’s MPG-plus gripper for small components, and the PGN-plus universal gripper.

SES has recently signed an agreement with Northrop Grumman for providing satellite capacity and services for the NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) system. AGS will work under NATO command and will be a key data source for NATO's system for Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR).

The winner of the competition to design and name the livery for a novel remotely operated aircraft designed by the University of Southampton, has been announced by Blue Peter as Izzy Bennett, 11 from Exeter. Izzy suggested the name ‘iflyer’ and the winning graphic design and was awarded a Blue Peter badge and replica plane by Barney Harwood, Blue Peter presenter.
