KUKA is a Germany-based provider of industrial robotic systems. The company developed the first industrial robot whose 6-axis were operated by electromechanical methods. The latest 4- and 6-axis robots of KUKA include 635 mm to 3900 mm reach and 5 kg to 1300 kg of payloads. The robots can be effectively controlled by means of a standard PC based controller interface. These robots are deployed in automotive, logistics, pharmaceutical, plastic, consumer goods and medical industries. The KUKA robots can perform several multiple operations like equipment loading, material handling, bending, welding, fixing and surface finishing.
The company has delivered independent welding cells, fully automated body shops, wing assembly lines and order completion line for food and beverage to several industries.
