Strategic Partnership to Develop Transport Robots

Swisslog has partnered with the Austrian Heron Group to develop advanced transport robots. Swisslog has reported that their state-of-the art technology will enhance its position in the warehouse and transportation segments.

Daniel Fink, Head of Swisslog Warehouse & Distribution Solutions Division, has stated that transport robotic systems can ideally complement their light goods technology solutions. He added that the innovative technology will enable them to provide sophisticated and total robotic systems for active warehouses and also for including latest picking station integrations.

The robots can be easily employed in several operations related to manufacture and intralogistics segments. This strategic collaboration will build distinct transport robots and will install them simultaneously in several projects like dynamic buffer warehouses for trays,totes and cardboard boxes.
