Trolex Releases Senscape System for Remote Monitoring and Control Applications

Trolex has unveiled the Senscape package, a new and cost-effective system, for remote monitoring and controlling applications. The system enables users to view information in an easy tabular form.

The Senscape package eliminates complicated logic functions and graphic mimic displays of expensive SCADA packages. It also enables user to modify several facility parameters like relay states and set-point. The alarm summary option shows ‘pops-up’ whenever an alarm is triggered. The operator can view on-screen trends, offering up-to-date information. The system also facilitates offline analysis by enabling the user to record data in a file format.

The system links to the production facility through the Modbus protocol by means of an Ethernet TCP/IP network or RS485 serial link network. It supports several networks like TCP/IP and mixing RS485.
