BioMicroLab, a supplier of automation solutions for biobanks, drug discovery companies and biotech organizations, launches two new automation solutions XL20 LevelCheck module and the XL20 Tube Handling Instrument at the SBS 2011’s 17th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando in Florida.
XL20 Tube Handling Instrument
The XL20 LevelCheck module scans and gives out the results of the tube sample volume and the tubes are also processed with the XL20 Tube Handling Instrument. The overall quality of screening results is enhanced by the LevelCheck as they offer dependable sample volume data regarding their source microtubes to the laboratories. The LevelCheck module provides fast sample volume data collection capacities and the XL20 Tube Handling Instrument supplies automation for scanning cherry-picking tubes, two-dimensional barcodes, weighing tubes.
Liquid handling is provided by the XL100 Vial Handling Instrument. BioMicroLab has mounted the Biohit rLine 200uL pipette and also incorporated a second z-axis, which would allow an automated single channel electronic pipetting for the XL100 Vial Handling Instrument. Both basic and advanced laboratory liquid handling could be integrated with vial and tube handling by the laboratories. The XL100 in-line weighing could also be integrated with liquid handling.
