Surfware Releases SURFCAM V5.1 at IMTS

Surfware Inc., a leading CAD/CAM software company, has announced the demonstration of SURFCAM V5.1 to the public at booth E-3820 of the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). The event is scheduled to be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, from 13-18, September.

IMTS is one of the largest industrial trade shows in the world, bringing together experts and leading suppliers from various industries to demonstrate useful and latest technical information and products available in the market.

SURFCAM V5.1 is an updated version of the existing SURFCAM software, which is more reliable and faster than previous versions. During the show, experts from the company will present live demos to explain the key improvements made with SURFCAM V5.1. They include new technologies such as TRUEMill Step Reduction Milling and multi-tool support in TRUEMill, 3 Axis cutting option, opening and operating STL files residing on machines, “Save As" STL implementation for validation during process, an upgraded CAD translator improvements ofr APT code for post processing.

According to Peter Marton, Vice President of Surfware Inc., by delivering SURFCAM V5.1 the company has demonstrated its assurance to offer reliable and cost effective CAM tools with strong customer support.
