Simplimatic Automation Introduces Puck Loader-Unloader

Simplimatic Automation has launched an automated puck handling and storage with the Puck Loader/Unloader, ideal for docking, undocking and storing pucks automatically.

Tom DiNardo, President of Simplimatic Automation, has stated that their latest product will bring down puck impairment, enhance adaptability on production lines and improves labor competency. Also this system can be redesigned either as a puck-line loader or a puck-line unloader or both facilitating multifarious line patterns. DiNardo mentioned that till now, dealing, storage and recovery of pucks have remained as challenging operations for those industries utilizing pucks to enhance competency and quality in filling production lines. He added that the automated Puck Loader/Unloader effectively organizes pucks, protects them from damage and enables easy shipping.

The modular Puck Loader/Unloader equipment adopts a winch method for locating and accommodating a cart and places the cart for loading or unloading pucks to a conveyor spur. The entire unit is protected by an enclosure for assuring secure operation. According to DiNardo, the automated Puck Loader/Unloader is an extension of their client-specific systems method for problem resolving, which enables them to dominate the CPG production segment.
