Hollysys Automation Technologies, a global supplier of automation and control systems, has declared that its nuclear joint enterprise named China Techenergy (CTEC), which was constructed with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding (CGNPC), has received automation and control systems contract from Fangchenggang nuclear power station.
As per this contract, CTEC will provide control and automation systems for phase 1 and 2 reactors of the nuclear power station. All the traditional control and automation equipment of the nuclear station have been developed based on Hollysys Automation’s HOLLiAS-N platform.
An association of power corporations headed by CGNPC has sponsored and established the Fangchenggang nuclear power station. The nuclear station has six water reactors, producing 1GW of electricity.
Dr. Changli Wang, CEO and Chairman of Hollysys, stated that their company will utilize its strategic partnership and core efficiency to establish its domination in the nuclear market segment of China.
