Cyberdyne Releases Hybrid Assistive Robot Suit

Yoshiyuki Sankai, President of Cyberdene and Professor of University of Tsukuba, has released a Hybrid Assistive Limb robot suit in Tsukuba.

The robotic suit is developed to analyze the operator’s movement or gait and to support their motion.

By 2011, the company has decided to lease a complete-body version for caretakers, supporting both arms and legs. It also enables operators to hold a maximum load weight of 70 kg with a single arm.
