Taylor Morrison, a leading national homebuilder and developer, and Legrand®, a global leader in high-performance network infrastructure hardware, have partnered to revolutionize household automation through the launch of Taylor Morrison's newest high-tech product, the Interactive Home 2.0™.

The new Interactive Home 2.0™ features Intuity™ Home Intelligence, an intuitive home automation system by Legrand. With its in-wall interface and applications for tablets and mobile devices, users can effortlessly control their comfort, security, lighting and entertainment within their homes.

The Intuity™ Home Intelligence system takes in-home automation to the next level with innovative features that enhance the homeowner's ability to connect and customize their living experience.

"This takes Taylor Morrison homeownership to the next level," said Jim Ellison, vice president of sales and marketing for the company's Houston division. "The Interactive Home 2.0™ is a compelling look into the future of homebuilding, showcasing integrated, state-of-the-art technology that seamlessly elevates everyday life."

The Interactive Home 2.0™ offers many options, including high-fidelity multi-room audio, that delivers content from personal iTunes collections as well as Internet Radio Services to different areas in the home, video door entry, garage door control, indoor and outdoor camera monitoring, home intercom and automated lighting for complete lighting and outlet control. The third-party integrated systems ensure complete comfort including a security alarm system, digital door locks and indoor temperature control, which also reduces power usage.

The reinvented Interactive Home 2.0™ is an upgraded highly-functional smart home design, created with a focus on the future of homebuilding and the demand for integrated, high-tech homes.

In true partnership with Legrand, the increased capabilities of the new Interactive Home 2.0™ will be available in the Taylor Morrison Houston market beginning March 4, 2016.

Now, homeowners can establish a central location for their Intuity™ Home Intelligence system with an optional in-wall Command Center. With the mounted iPad®, it offers a consistent interface identical to the Intuity™ smartphone and tablet applications, plus a built-in intercom, access to commonly used functions and digital audio control.

"Intuity™ enables homeowners to have full control over each aspect of the home at the touch of a button," said Fritz Werder, GM and vice president, Nuvo and On-Q product lines. "Each advanced feature in the Interactive Home 2.0™ delivers automated home living at its finest."
