Capsa Healthcare's Pharmacy Robot Available On Federal Supplies Contract

Capsa Healthcare announced today that its Kirby Lester KL-SR pharmacy robotic dispensing system is now available for purchase on the Capsa Federal Supplies Contract. The KL-SR also will be available for purchase on GSA Advantage.

The KL-SR secure robot is part of Capsa's federal contract, V797P-2073D effective October 1, 2020.

The Kirby Lester KL-SR fully automates the labeling, counting, and presenting of complete prescriptions in busy outpatient and community pharmacies. The KL-SR has an industry-first cassette calibration system onboard - universal locking cassettes can handle any NDC, and never need recalibration. Locked cassettes and updated FillSafe security system protect the pharmacy's inventory and guards against unauthorized access. The robot automates 108 medications - more than 50% of total daily orders, and includes biometrics for user tracking and reporting.

The KL-SR joins Capsa Healthcare's KL1 and KL1Plus pharmacy counting devices on the existing FSS/GSA contract. The KL1 is a simple, accurate tablet/capsule counting device. The KL1Plus combines counting with scan-verification software to avoid prescription filling errors, and an electronic C-II log.

Please contact Capsa Healthcare for information about additional products on federal contract, in the areas of health IT, medication management, and pharmacy automation for acute care, extended care and a host of other settings.
