CHAD Industries has declared the completion of multiple shipments of its automated wafer handling workcell called WaferMate300-2 for the S-930 dispensing tool, the latest dispensing platform of Asymtek.
The combination of WaferMate300-2 work cell and the S-930 dispensing tool will offer a dependable and compact wafer automation solution. As the two systems can be integrated rapidly and flawlessly, Asymtek can provide an intensified system to its customers to meet their manufacturing demands.
The WaferMate300-2 is a member of the successful WaferMate product portfolio and several WaferMate workcells have been deployed across the globe. The highly flexible configuration and compact design make it an ideal option for OEM clients demanding a customary off-the-shelf automation system that can be installed rapidly for their uses.
CHAD Industries’ President, Scott Klimczak stated that the company is happy about being selected to automate the newest dispensing platform of Asymtek. The WaferMate product portfolio is an ideal solution to its customers demanding a completely automated model of their process equipment, Klimczak said. Klimczak further said that the CHAD workcell, which has a comprehensive equipment set of hardware and software components, can be setup to process various types of wafers, including sapphire wafers, warped wafers and thin wafers, with sizes ranging between 50 and 300 mm, to fulfill unique integration needs in a short lead-time.
