Forum Energy offers five Perry XLX Heavy Work Class remote operated vehicles (ROVs) for sale to Marine Platforms (MPL). MPL is involved in providing a host of oil and gas services to the West African companies. The delivery of these ROVs is expected to happen during the fourth quarter of 2011.
The equipment at MPL is suited for subsea tasks such as construction, installation, repair and inspection of undersea vessels. MPL boasts of a good mix of quality equipment and personnel skills. Their services are a complete Life of Field (LOF) offering starting from construction to maintenance and support of ROVs. They also provide tooling and product design of ROVs. The five ROVs from Forum will be part of their ROV fleet, which will now add up to seven. Apart from ROVs they have an 100 HP Olympian ROV systems which is operated by a Nigerian company. The TXLX ROV systems have a range of 150 HP to 200 HP and come with a vast range of tooling and survey equipment options. Forum will be providing support during the mobilization and operations in Nigeria. The ROVs with Forum serve hydraulic work-class vehicles that are used in applications like inspection and deep water construction. Other services offered are remote intervention services. These ROVs are mainly used in the oil and gas industry for use for complex tasks.
