Adept Technology has secured a $1.4 million order from a leading producer of advanced automated machinery. The OEM company has selected Adept to deliver sophisticated robotic systems, which will enhance the manufacturing ability of its end user.
The Python linear modules from Adept will be employed for handling high accuracy, high throughput material utility. Over the years, the Python robots have offered better performance and results to the customers. Furthermore, about 15 robots with individual configuration can be controlled through Adept’s distributed controls platform and SmartController CX. Thus, the controllers enable customers to benefit from multi-robots abilities. At high motion speed, the linear modules are able to meet Fed 209E class 1 cleanroom standards in controlled environments. Hence, they are also preferred for industrial cleanliness.
