AutoCrib Launches RoboCrib VX Vending Machine

AutoCrib’s newly-added model RoboCrib VX will complement the company’s popular line of robotic carousel industrial vending machines. The new VX model integrates the RoboCrib 500 and 1000 within a single cabinet to optimize the RoboCrib family.

The VX is available as VX-500 that can contain 628 items or the VX-1000 that holds 1,048 items. Measuring 34”wx39”dx75”h, the cabinet consists of a 12.1 Touch Screen in an alcove. The incorporated field configurable bins enable the RoboCrib VX to instantly adapt to customers’ demands.

In addition to the touch screen in landscape position, the front panel present within the RoboCribs swings open for easy access. The VX also features the new AutoCrib Universal Interface (AUI).

Being upgraded to the latest technology, the motor controller board enables users to test the system through PC commands and also minimizes maintenance. Supplementing AutoCrib’s unique frameless doors, the new rotary latches provide access to larger items, which was considered essential.

With the new field configurable bins, end-users can rapidly swap bins according to their requirements. Using a single screw, users can open the bin and replace a smaller or larger bin housing the new items for vending. The software can be reconfigured within the machine to complement their new configuration. The whole process can be accomplished within few minutes.

All RoboCribs are now available with AutoCrib.net or AutoCrib 6.1 software. Version 6.1 is a new release of the company’s client server software. Besides a complete redesign of the user interface, several new structural and feature enhancements such as a new ribbon style control have been included. The RoboCrib VX includes image-based search and capable of identifying an item by a category, search box, list or barcoded pick list.
