Double Robotics Receives Major Investment from Grishin Robotics

Grishin Robotics has declared about its $250,000 investment into Double Robotics. The other terms of the deal have not been disclosed by the parties yet.

Double Robotics has secured $1.2 M (600 units) in pre-orders (in one month following the launch), from 44 international countries, where 24 universities, and 17 Fortune 500 companies serve as customers. New pre-orders will be provided in early 2013.

ABI research data stated that worldwide telepresence market will attain $13.1 B by 2016 end.
