AUVSI to Feature Ground, Air and Maritime Unmanned Systems

AUVSI, Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, which is the largest annual event focusing on international ground, air and maritime unmanned systems will take place this year at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver from August 24 to 27.

The conference features general sessions, workshops, poster sessions and live demonstrations of robotic hardware and will bring together the key leaders, scientists and students in the unmanned systems community.

Organizers are expecting more than 400 exhibitors, to display the latest tools and techniques in the field of Robotics. AUVSI is offering an opportunity for exhibitors to demonstrate their product capabilities live in front of the attendees which include air, ground and maritime diminutive unmanned systems like aerial enclosure, ground track and 9,000 gallon tank.

Interviews and opinions of experts on the latest autonomous systems and their trends will be a part of the technical program.The key areas include Access to Civil Airspace for UAVs, Unmanned Systems for Law Enforcement, Unmanned Systems for Fire Fighting, Unmanned Vehicles in the Gulf Oil Spill, Driverless Automobiles, and Explosive Ordnance and Detonation/Disposal.

A Press conference will feature press meetings, on a first-come first-served basis. The participating companies can inform the press regarding their new products and other required information. It was reported that with the help of a media badge, the officially certified media can avail an access to the press office that features wireless internet, letter box and press kits of various companies etc.
