Teledyne DALSA to Release New Models of Piranha4 Line Scan Cameras at ITE Japan 2013

Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in machine vision technology, will release two new models of its popular Piranha4 line scan camera series as it showcases its latest cameras and frame grabbers at the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment 2013 (ITE Japan 2013). The show takes place from December 4-6, 2013 at the Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.

Visit Teledyne DALSA at booth DS01 where Teledyne DALSA Asia Pacificwill demonstrate our newest high speed multi-line CMOS capability with the Xtium CLHS frame grabber, two new 2k Piranha4 line scan models, and our feature-rich and powerful 5 Megapixel Genie™ TS GigE Vision camera.

At ITE, Teledyne DALSA will share details of the Piranha4 2k 10.56 micron (um) dual line monochrome and 14.08 um tri-linear color cameras. The 2k models join the 4 and 8k models in the Piranha4 CMOS line scan family. The Piranha4 2k monochrome models provide 2048 x 2 pixel resolution and a maximum line rate of 200 kHz in area mode and 100 kHz in TDI mode. The 2k color provides 2048 x 3 pixel resolution at a maximum line rate of 70 kHz. The Piranha4 2k is designed to meet today's challenging high-speed applications in machine vision and uses field-proven technology to significantly improve responsivity and signal to noise ratio.
