Waypoint to Present Benefits of UAS at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference

Waypoint Global Strategies has accepted an invitation to present the benefits of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to law enforcement officers from all around the world at this year's International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Orlando, Florida, October 25-28.

Waypoint's discussion will be led by a former SWAT officer with a master's in Aeronautical Science who will demonstrate how UAS platforms will revolutionize law enforcement by improving officer safety in the field and providing a 360-degree threat picture to officers in highly dynamic and hostile environments. The presentation is titled "UAV Optimization: Managing Unmanned Technology to Improve Officer Safety and Threat Mitigation" and will be held in the Innovation Theatre at the Orange County Convention Center
on October 27, 2014, at 2:30 PM.

"UAS bring enormous value as force multipliers to law enforcement and emergency responders," says Aaron Greenwald, President of Waypoint Global Strategies and a former law enforcement officer. "This technology will save time, money, and most importantly, lives, especially in hazardous or austere environments and high-risk scenarios."

The IACP is a professional police organization that seeks to positively affect the goals of law enforcement worldwide through education and networking initiatives. The group's annual conference is one of the largest gathering of police officers in the world and showcases the latest cutting edge law enforcement technology. Last year's running had over 13,500 in attendance from 59 countries. For more information visit www.theiacpconference.org
