Baidu to Showcase Latest AI Technologies at Baidu World 2018

Baidu, Inc., the leading Chinese language Internet search provider, today announced the key themes for Baidu World 2018. The annual flagship technology conference will be held on November 1st at China World Hotel in Beijing.

In addition to unveiling Baidu's latest technologies, products and partnerships, this year's Baidu World will showcase how AI applications can transform different industries, improve everyday life and contribute to the social good.

The one-day conference will comprise of a main forum in the morning and seven sub-forums in the afternoon. The morning session will feature Baidu executives and AI leaders, including:

Chairman and CEO Robin Li
President Ya-Qin Zhang
Vice President and General Manager of Baidu’s Intelligent Driving Group Zhenyu Li
VP and general manager of Baidu app Dou Shen
General Manager of Baidu’s Smart Living Group Kun Jing
Leaders from some of Apollo’s partner companies

The seven sub-forums will focus on updates and insights from leaders across Baidu’s business and technology groups, including Baidu Brain, Intelligent Driving, Smart Living, Content Ecosystem, Business Ecosystem, AI City as well as Du Xiaoman, formerly Baidu’s Financial Services Group.

Baidu envisions a future where AI technologies can be applied to our everyday lives, improve and change the way people interact with machines and make a complex world simpler through technology. At this year’s Baidu World, the executive team will demonstrate the progress the company has made towards achieving this vision.

The livestream of the event will be available starting at 10:00 AM Beijing Time on November 1 via (Mandarin Chinese) and (simultaneous Chinese-to-English translation). Real-time updates in English will also be shared on Baidu’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts.
