KUKA Roboter Releases Robot Series with High Payloads

KUKA Roboter has launched a new robot series, QUANTEC, which includes a robot for every type of customer-specific application. The QUANTEC series is suited for all cell layouts.

The QUANTEC series features a compact wrist to ensure convenience in limited spaces and minimized irregular contours. This robot family is capable of covering the payload ranging from 90 to 300 kg and making the process of automation simpler.

The QUANTEC series ensures utmost flexibility in the design and planning stage. QUANTEC reduces the amount of time spent for design and enhances safety in planning. These robots weigh around 160 kg less weight and occupy 25% less volume when compared to the other robot series. QUANTEC series robots are compact and space-efficient. Hence can be used in a wide range of production applications in narrow or limited spaces. It allows shorter cycle times and higher dynamic performance. The robot series features +/- 0.06 mm pose repeatability and delivers greater precision.
