Parata Systems Receives 2010 Business Excellence Award

Parata Systems, a global leader in providing innovative pharmacy automation solutions, has received the 2010 Business Excellence Award, in the category of "Large Business", from the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce. These awards emphasize various business achievements and also major business leaders of Durham.

The 2010 Business Excellence awards identified businesses performed at various levels including small, medium and large scale. It also recognized individuals of the business sector for their attempts in developing Durham. The awards ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel and more than 200 entrepreneurs participated in the event.

Jess Eberdt, CEO, Doug Townsend, CFO and Tom Rhoads, CEO Designee represented Parata Systems in receiving the award. Rhoads said that their company’s headquarters is located in Durham and the place provides a business-friendly and highly talented background which makes them feel proud to work for the development of Durham.
