Pick and Place Automated Unit from Schunk Best Suited for High Speed Assembly Applications

Schunk has introduced a quick Pick and Place Unit, PPU-E30, which does not require any sensitive moving motor cables. The device is capable of working at high speed cycle rates with accuracies of 0.01 mm. Its speed is suited for assembly operations that deal with placing small components.

First Lego Robotics League Competition for Alderwood Boys and Girls Sponsored by SEMclix

SEMclixwas the sponsor for the Alderwood Boys and Girls Club Lego Robotics team. The team, which is called Radical Red Robots had participated in the First Lego League 2011 which was held at Lynwood, WA. A total of 29 teams had taken part in the competition having students whose ages ranged between nine and fourteen.
