CHAD Pairs with Veeco Instruments at Semicon-Taiwan Trade Show

CHAD Industries, a global provider of electronics assembly systems and wafer handling solutions, will team up with Veeco Instruments, a leading supplier of tools, to display its LED wafer handling expertise at the Semicon-Taiwan Trade show in the Taipei World Trade Center. The event will be conducted from September 08-10 and the team will be placed at booth #2830.

During the show, the team will present live demos to explain the automated analysis for 2” Sapphire wafers. CHAD will display the WaferMate200 workcell that is configured to handle 2'' sapphire wafers.  The three-dimensional non-contact ContourGT-X8 inspection tool will be showcased by Veeco Instruments.

CHAD Industries’ President, Scott Klimczak stated that the company has designed a set of tooling options to facilitate a range of LED applications by utilizing the WaferMate200. This approach enables OEM customers to place importance to the process tool and permit the company to focus on wafer automation. The WaferMate300 allows an easy upgrade path for the evolution of standard and non-standard wafers from 2” to 12”. It also provides high-precision wafer handling and throughput. Application flexibility, high precision, and bulletproof reliability are the other key features of WaferMate200.
